Hi all I'm Nic,
I created this website and blog to share my personal journey to finding health and happiness. While growing up I struggled with depression, anxiety and persistent maladies. I reached a point where I'd had enough. At that moment I made a choice, I no longer wanted to be a victim. I decided to look closely at myself as a whole; what I was eating, my mindset and belief systems; my physical health and relationships. I began building the happiness I wanted; starting within.
It wasn't an easy road to find the balance and it's also not one that is static; it continues. A result of the process was acquiring a chunk of experience and knowledge, and given the current state of health and well-being among men, particularly young men; I feel, more than ever, it's now worthwhile sharing.
It's not often that an open dialogue is started between (or even including) men on this subject. For the most part the suffering is hidden, and because of this too many amazing young men become statistics. While we may not want to openly talk about it in a group, or even in person, perhaps we're OK with starting a dialogue over characters across the interweb; at least as a starting point. I know if I'd had a resource available fourteen years ago it would have been a blessing.
So, if you find the information useful please share it. Let's start something humble but far reaching to change the landscape of mental health and wellness for men (and all humans) across the world.
