I'd like to introduce the concept of silence through sound. A few people have asked about it, so I figure it's time to share some details. There are a multiple elements to this; I'll touch on one now.
As my daily practice, I use techniques to make the process of creating sound (even one note) to be synonymous with the state of expansive healing and meditation. It is incredible what you can anchor that state to, and the affect this has on yourself and surroundings.
By using a simple process of bringing mindfulness to a physical action, you anchor this expansive state with the applied action. Repeating this overtime results in the execution of that action, effortlessly drawing you into the state of mindfulness. It has a two way effect - the more you practice the anchoring technique, the deeper you are pulled every time you perform the action. And the more you perform the action, moving with this pull, the deeper you go with the anchoring technique.
The action does not have to be something purely artistic, it could be chopping vegetables, putting out washing, or gardening. Let's go deeper into this soon!
